The FUNdamental Art of Living
workshops
It's a funny thing but we humans seem to enjoy making hard work of our daily lives. Give someone who's heavily stressed due, let's say, to overwork the advice that they need to get more fun in their lives, and it's as if they've been physically slapped in the face.
"How dare you," they say, "I haven't got time for fun. I'm far too busy being stressed!"
And so it goes on.
What doesn't seem to occur to those who are doing their best to make life hard work, is that they alone are the cause of the hard work. If they were able to step back and take a detached look at the life they're creating, detached from the thoughts and emotions they regularly nurture in order to live their chosen life, they would see something akin to a robotic existence: Programmed behaviour running off a habitual energy that drives people on to a point beyond which they can see any other way of doing things.
The FUNdamental art of living looks at how our minds and body work together: If we're thinking positive and constructive thoughts, then we'll feel great; and vice versa. If our minds are allowed to constantly tend toward negative, angry, defensive thoughts, well, is it any wonder we feel tired, catch every virus and cold going and crave the sort of substances that are just not healthy in the sort of quantities an out-of-balance body desires.
Working with the mechanics of Laughter alongside exercises to empower the positive side of the mind, everything you will experience in these workshops comes from my own experience of changing a negative mindset into a positive lifestyle. I use these exercises on a daily basis so I know they work.
